CPAP is the acronym for “continuous positive airway pressure,” and these devices are designed to assist you with receiving sufficient oxygen while you sleep.

There are different types of CPAP masks and machines. While some people prefer nasal pillows, others prefer nasal masks or have no preference between the two types of CPAP masks. In addition to full face masks, there are also special CPAP masks for side sleepers.

When learning about the different types of CPAP masks, it’s important to carefully consider your choices because you want them to fit comfortably. While it may take a few days to get used to wearing a mask or nasal pillow, it’s important to keep wearing it. Once you realize how much more well-rested you are, it will be easier to adjust to wearing the mask or pillow.
