In their recently published review article, Matthew Piper and Andrzej Bartke from University College London review dietary (calorie) restriction as studied in rodents, Drosophila and C. elegans and “discuss examples of diet/genotype interactions that show a more complex mechanistic view is required and that mild dietary modifications can dramatically change the interpretation of model organism aging studies.”
